Hi all

I have a new knife, cost me 20p, the previous owner thought that it may be Norwegian?

It looks like a small puukko that would have been with a bigger one in a sheath, great find and very cheap:)

I remember my Dad having one like it in the early 70s.It was indeed a companion knife with a Leuku in a double sheath and had a leather retaining strap.I think that one came from Norway but I was young and may be wrong. Not sure if he still has it.I will ask.
Cheers , Simon

Puukko this small was probably meant for a tourist piece or a show of the skill of the smith. The handle shape was first used by Marttiini. I'm quessing post-1920s.
