Knife blank

Could any makers give me a price for a 3-3 1/2" knife blade with stick tang made in damascus steel and nice and sharp. And a price for one in regular carbon steel (because I'm 99.99% certain the damascus will be out of my price range). Doesn't need a handle or anything - just the blade.

Gee I though they looked cheap until I looked up the exchange rate. Even so it looks to me like a person could spend $150 on blade and handle material and end up with a blade worth easily double that.

I'm going to start doing low cost hand made blades next month...

Damascus - 416 layers - and Carbon 01 steel. Haven't quite worked out the prices yet but under £20...probably about £12 a pop. Gonna do hand made sheaths too - about 6 styles...for about £10-12 each...

Naaa! Just underprice everything! And buy rough billets in fairly large quantities... I can always charge more! LOL!
