I wasn't allowed to bring back any beef jerky I had bought in the USA. Customs kicked up a bit of a stink.. and when I went into the passenger out-bit in heathrow what did I see for sale? `authentic texas beef jerky`.

I would rather make my own. I have just taken some out Tatton Park Venison Jerky out of the oven that I marinated in Teriaki, garlic salt, onion granuals, sugar and lingonberry jam (the stuff they sell at IKEA that I crushed).

Must resist of there will be none left tomorrow :D

It's not Jerky, they miss spelt it and accidentally added the Y on the end :)

Either that or it's like the bikes and bought by struggling to be badboy accountants, never used, but often boasted about.

Can you tell I am a Hardly Movingson fan?

Ha!

Out in the Pilbara waste not want not is the philosophy.

Lots of lean emu, kangaroo and cattle freshly killed by the road side. Fresh healthy and already drying. Just get to it before the crows. A great little cottage industry.

This is the best jerky of all
