I have fond memories of playing rugby at Kirkby Lonsdale. One time the pitch was still frozen, so they put a tractor with chains on it and dragged them across the pitch. As we walked on to the pitch to warm up, my foot hit something metal. I bent down, and picked up a great big metal hook with a bloody sharp point! We were glad we spotted it, but spent the next 80 minutes praying no more of them were buried in the pitch! haha good times! I'm also a shift worker

Took my youngest along to the rugby club to get him started, didn't realise the scale of it! Every field was packed. Trying to find some suitable local venues in the area. But it's slow going 😃
