Hi Guys

I've been working on this one for a while and have just finished it. Nice handy little bushy but with my own unmistakable look to it - i'm told. Thuya burr on an 01 blade, full convex grind, 220mm long overall and matching firesteel.
What do you think?

Tracy.. :)

That is one nice little knife! I like the look of it, It just goes to show there is more than way to skin a cat :D Bushcraft knives don't have to look all the same as "you know who's" knife.
Did you put the little half circle in the blade to make it neater/easier to finish the cutting edge? I was thinking to do the same on my next knife.Well done. :You_Rock_

wow, I love that!!
Very interesting blade shape, I've never seen it used for Bushcraft before but I like it ;)

And yes, it does look rather "you" - probably because of yet another example of a stunning handle material coupled with an awesome lookin blade! :D

Nice knife and an interesting blade shape. I like it when people experiment with different styles.

Great looking knife! Love the shape of the blade, I prefer that style to just about any bushy knife I've seen. If I ever get the steel to do one myself that will be my inspiration

Hi Guys

Jo-Jo - the half circle is called a choil, i like it because it is decorative and it also helps when sharpening the blade, giving a place to stop at.

Tor helge - the thickness of the blade is 3mm x 30mm.

Draven - thank you for your lovely words, very kind and thoughtful.

Silverback - thank you Mr & Mrs Silverback, i'm glad you like it.

Grangerknives - yes - the firesteel top was turned.

Mick Spain - Mick, always a pleasure to see you on any of my threads, i've always admired your work.

Nathan - thank you for your patriotism - is it your first, you didn't say. If i can be of any help to you at all, you know where to find me...........and hey.........whether it is your first or not, i would love to see some pictures please.

And thank you for all the other kind comments you have made.

Colin KC - i think it might have been a trick of the light, so i have put another picture on from the other side and the pin is one piece that goes straight the way through from one side to the other, but i am always pleased to be guided by you.

nice work there Tracey :)

I can see what Col means, the rear pins looks like it slope inward on the first photo. I think it's the angle teh pic was taken form :D

Oh, the half circle is called a choil (or Spanish notch if very ornate). The plunge cut is the transition between the flat (ricasso) and the blade bevel ;)

Are you coming to Jack's btw?
