Camping last night in north east Hampshire (about 5 miles from Jane austins house)

Solid rock, in summer it's all mud

Splendid night in some fantastic woodland. so many stars and it only got down to -4 (was predicted -7/-8)

Hi Rich can you explain photo 1 is it the track in,the stream in,man made ? the nearest I've seen round here is a couple of hundred yards long ford following the stream down then out.
Photo 2 looks great a proper camp what was the technique ? tripod long exposure no flash ?

The track is usually just a pathway but in winter is used as a runoff for excess water from the farms at the top of the hill. One week it can be dry as a bone the next it can be upto knee height (waist height in places)

The camera was on my tiny tripod, it's about 6" tall and only cost £2.

4 second exposure no flash ISO 64. longest exposure my camera can do. I use a Fuji Finepix S8000 fd. Great for daytime and has a good macro feature but pretty useless at night. ANy ISO setting of more than 200 and it's very grainy.
