I've seen these called squirrel cookers or camp buddies, there are probably other names as well.

Great work, I like them as they are!

I made my own set with another support that could be used, and mine didn't have a fork end just sharp flat metal and a pot hanger :).

Thanks for the input. The fork has been reheated and quenched in veg oil, and the rest has had a coat of stove paint just because I had some.

For future projects what kind of wax should I use, Bees paraffin or either?
