Previously in my life (soap style beginning)
Last year in March I lost my job due to redundancies, since then I have been attempting to without success to get back into IT.
With no luck I have working where ever I can, for the past several months working night shift in a factory and looking after my son in the afternoon.
Today I was offered a full time job working for Thames Valley Police Application Support team,
So hopefully (after passing vetting) this should put me back on track to where I was nearly a year ago (not counting the 7 years of experience I had in my previous field) but its a start to hopefully building a new career in a field where it will hopefully get job satisfaction of actually doing something meaningful.
In the next episode (soap style) who knows???
