I tried to post this before but may have messed up as I'm a new user.
Firstly I'm Nick lovely to meet you all!
I'm an archaeology graduate starting work at a site near Burton-on-Trent on the 24th July, accommodation is around £80 a week and I'm just wondering if any of you think it is feasible to find some woodland nearby where I can camp instead and save all the monies? I worked nearby last summer but an official campsite was about £15 a night. I have no problem packing everything up and taking it to site if needs be but its difficult camping somewhere for any length of time without knowing the local area all too well.
