I was on site today, for general info ...

Due to the dryness of the site any and all open fires need to be raised and contained - this includes fires in the communal area.

Hardly surprising. On my travels today I saw at least four large heath fire scars, and two in the local woodland. All appearing within the last two or three days.

Oh, that stirs a few memories ...
But when soil* burns, it's dry :yikes:

* For those not in the know, Much of the sites 'soil' is leaf mulch - and leaf mulch can can burn and/or hold a smoulder :yikes:
