Hi All
Padawan bushcrafter here from Dublin. I have constantly been landed onto BCUK threads for reference so I thought I had better sign up!
My story is that I recently got a chance to attend an excellent bushcraft course in Ireland which reminded me how much I used to love camping when I was younger (I used to do a lot in college and the scouts before that). I am also interested in conservation and I think the principles of genuine bushcraft (not survival!) go hand in hand with that.
Naturally, I have also been a fan of Ray Mears for a good few years, although never got to put any of it into practice.
While I was on the course, I was also introduced to the highly addictive world of spoon carving and hope in the future to give some green woodworking a go too.
Thats my lot.
Cheers
