I'm after a dimmable camping lantern

Like the title says, I'm looking for a camping lantern that varies from 'this is good, I can see just enough' to 'the Sun has risen at 1am' in terms of brightness. Well, maybe not quite as bright as the Sun

Battery operated, portable, and not particularly heavy.

Although I see many available, I'm struggling to find one with variable output - something I consider essential.

Any ideas?

The Alpkit Bulb is variable, and not much dollar. I've only got the old version though, so I can't comment on the new one.

I have one of the new Alpkit lanterns and they are great - just hold down the button until it's at the right level of brightness

The Alpkit offerings are just what I'm after. I couldn't choose between the Glowe and the Trinity, so I've ordered one of each.
