IDA supplies in Glasgow/Central Scotland

Hi folks

I've applied for a licsense to use 20 litres a year (max allowed) of Industrial denatured alcohol for a heatpal 5100 spirit stove (for a nylon tipi).

Does anyone know where I can buy it in Glasgow or Central Scotland?

In my area, Lanarkshire, I'd probably try Brogan Fuels in Motherwell

Just off Finnieston Street near PC World.

They sell it in 5 Litre containers but I think you can also get 20L ones. Sometimes it is best to phone in advance as they might need to syphon you some off from their storage tanks. You will need to take your authorisation letter but I was surprised that they do not actually record how much you buy. They just check you have the licence.

Price wise I think 5 litres is about £12

I downloaded the forms to get the license about 6 months ago but have not got around to it yet. I'll need to do it now befor the camping season starts (no comments please about not camping mid winter please).
