This is the first ever sheath I've made, for the second ever knife I've made (handled).
The leather was an offcut, cost me £1.50
I cut it out with a stanley knife to a pattern that Kepis very kindly sent me.
I borrowed my fathers holepunch, rivets, rivet anvil and overstitcher to mark out the stitches then I took it home...
I drilled the holes out, stitched up with fishing braid using a boiley needle.
Wet formed it
sanded and sealed the edges with bees wax.
Gave it a rub with a leather cream.
Sense of achievement is huge, it's a bit rough and ready but overall I'm very pleased.
