Sounds to me like you might need to be prepared to relocate for a job.
It is not bad, I would say it is very good. Done it all my life, including moving country.
I know nothing about your base qualification, but even if you do not ‘pass’ the post grad, it should still be valuable for you, on your CV.
Shows you have the interest and willingness to learn.
My own post grad studies, and further education, were in three areas, never led to a specialization, but I have had huge use of them anyway. More than a specialization, to be frank.
