I thought I'd challenge myself on my next trip out, and use a mostly home made and repurposed kit.
I've had the old Bergans pack with a broken frame lying around for years, so I didn't mind scavenging it for parts for this project.
I'd seen something like this on a German website, and thought why not try and make one myself.
all the materials were scrap and offcuts I had in the mancave.
Don't know the weight, but the pics show it almost fully packed, and it is quite comfortable, so walking a little over a kilometer shouldn't be bad.

nice one

i have a small fishing style frame backpack [rescued from being thrown out] that opens as a stool whereby the pack when stool is open sits under the seat of the stool

it is in british army green with no markings or label on it

similar to https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8916244

that calls for mind as i have not used or tested as yet i will do so soon

i have another with a back rest [rescued at the same time as the other]

similar farmework to https://www.fruugo.co.uk/portable-f...t-fishing-bag-integrated/p-83837905-172893717

yet the bag is a rucksack type rather than a cooler box style
