Hobo Stove - First Attempt (Pics)

I made one of these the other day. http://www.nimblewillnomad.com/stove.htm
It packs away very small when wrapped in a piece of cloth. The only thing wrong with it was that the flames didn't seem to burn all that well unless there was a breeze. I'll try drilling some more holes around the outside to see if that helps.

What sort of tools do you need to (reasonably easily) cut sheet metal of that sort of thickness?

I used a cheap jigsaw and an old grinding/sharpening wheel to round off the edges. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't look as smart as that one but not far off.
