has anybody got any expirience of the above bivi bag?
Is it any good or just a cheap knock off of the snugpak stratosphere?

I'm in the market for a sub £100 one man lightweight bivi and at the moment I am looking at this and the snugpak stratosphere. I've herd alot of people talk about the stratosphere but never herd anyone talk about the falkon.

I've got a Jack Wolfskin one man tent/bivvi which I have outgrown. Nothing wrong with the tent which has been used but is in good condition, I'm just too old and stiff to get in and out of it and have gone back to a two man tent for backpacking. If you're interested, PM me. I suggest £50 including post, packing and paypal fee.

No experience of that piece but a fair bit of highlander gear, it is all rubbish! all of it! every piece is cheap nasty tat, best to save your pennies dude, I base my view on four rucksacks, a couple of hydration bladder bags, some pouch things and a tarp thing, all gifts all cheap tat that unstitched, ripped, fell apart or snapped:D

Maybe you missed that bit, I wouldn't waste my money on it:) Of course you understand this is all my OPINION based MY experience of their kit,

Opinions count, webtex has a bad name due to the stitching coming apart when you least expect it.
Since Snugpak has a really good reputation, making good QC kit it would be interesting to see how Highlander stood up to it.

The dutch army bivi is good if you get a carinthia version, the one made by the spanish supplier fesca; you are in for trouble.
They all have faulty zips on the fesca ones. I have been through 4 from ebay, all the surplus ones on there tend to be fesca ones.
