Hello everyone! I've been lurking around the site for a while now and decided it's time to join.
My name is Gerard and I got into bushcraft about half a year ago. Before then I had already seen a lot of youtube videos but didn't do much with it. After spending many winter evenings exploring the snowy world with a buddy and having a late snack over a campfire, I absolutely fell in love with being out in nature; something I already had as a child but lost when my teen years came along.
So here I am, carving spoons, bowls, cups and other utensils and having a great time doing it. Some other stuff too, but I'll post that another time.
That's about it. From what I've seen so far, this is a great community where there's a whole lot to learn and where I'll get a lot of inspiration for projects.
