Hello from near Buckingham

Hi, My name is Anna, I am 46 and love camping and hiking. I have, in my time been a brownie, a guide, a scout and a member of the Boys clubs association. I have been a beaver leader and now am a cub leader, and both my kids are in scouts now. I am new to the bushcraft forums, and while I am full of enthusiasm I am lacking in skills/confidence (very rusty) so am hoping to learn lots so I can teach my cubs the joys of bushraft. First camp in three weeks time and I am currently both excited and bricking it!

Hi Anna !! If you are a camper, Beaver leader, cub leader and have been a guide and a scout then you already have skills / abilities/ knowledge. Have belief in yourself and remember Bushcraft is not an A level examination its about relaxing, having fun and enjoying yourself! Go girl
