Hi, my name is Golb (not for real only on the Internet)
I'm living in Limburg, which is the most eastern province of the Flemmish speaking part of Belgium. Ever since I was a little boy I was fascinated by (making) fire. Even when I had to study I managed it to spend more time making fire with my desk lamp and course book instead of studying what was in the books
These days I like to stroll through the woods and practice some bushcraft skills (both in the woods, at my desk and in the backyard).
I live in an area where there are plenty of fomes fomentarius and flint, and I'm currently busy trying to prepare the amadou layer to catch sparks very easily.
I also do have a blog: http://www.golb.be which is in Dutch. A smaller part http://en.golb.be is in Flemish Business English ;-)
I already learned a lot of bushcraft stuff from the Internet and want to share some of my own experiences with you guys later on on this forum.
