I have been more lightweight wildcamp orientated until as of late, but new pals from the youtube community have convinced me to hammock. Done four overnighters since Christmas in my tenth wonder hornet and am loving it. Was out in Snowdonia on Monday in my terra nova solar comp2 and the ground feels really hard after swinging in a hammock.
Used to outdoor living as I was a new age traveller for six years, spent some of that time in traditional bender tents made from hazel poles. Here to get some tips on hammocking and getting said kit a bit lighter, although I know all the basics in kit lightening from backpacking with tents.
