Having a quick brew up in the woods.

I enjoy a day out which might look like this...
A leisurely motorsickle ride out somewhere quiet,
and a few hours just sitting quietly in the woods,
with a brew and cake or biscuits, maybe a wee snooze.
A Leisurely ride home, sometimes more spirited the the outward journey.
I either use a wood burning stove or a hexi cooker for those days.

I've seen the one that looks like a Stanley and it seemed OK. Chap I know has one and likes it. Just after years of selling them in the outdoor trade has taught me to stay away from certain makes so I stick to Stanley. I also once got badly scalded all over my lower back and beam end due to one of the slimline jobs lid popping off in my satchel and leaking. Have you had good experiences?
Going back to the OP, if you could contrive a simple hanger for your pot, then a short burst of flame from a few pine twigs will obviate the need to make decent embers. Embers are fine if you have to broil, but quick flames like you'll get from pine are fine to boil for a quick brew. Good on you for getting on with it.
