Just inherited a Frosts knife.
I've seen piccies of them before and heard good things, but never actually held/had one. But now I have.
I'm very impressed. It's a super sharp blade (which could do with being a tad thicker. But, still...), and a perfectly sized knife.
However, the handle.
It's a solid piece of green plastic. I imagine it could get a bit slippy when wet/sweaty.
So my thoughts have turned to doing something about it. I toyed with the idea of taking the handle off and making a new one - but I don't know if it has a full tang, half tang or what (does anyone know, or have pictures? Anyone re-handled one before?).
So I thought what I may do is cut some slots into the handle with the routing tool on a Dremel and inlay some leather. But then I couldn't decide what glue to use - wondered if Evostick or Araldite might not 'bite' on to the plastic so well.
So, anyway. I'm sure plenty of you have/have had a Forst knife before. What did you do about the handle, if anything?
Cheers.
