Recently, after aquiring my grandfathers old shotgun, and figuring I needed the exercise, I decided to pick up hiking and bushcrafting (and hunting) as a new hobby. Though really a city boy, back in my youth I did go hiking a bit with my family in the area around my grandparents cabin - mostly daytrips, but also a few overnighters with my grandfather. I can't exactly claim to have much experience, though. This site popped up several times through Google, and I figured I might as well register. It's always nice to have a place to ask questions and learn new tips and tricks.
