Great news at our house

It's Carol's birthday on Monday and she's just received the best pressy ever.

No she's not up the duff but a few months ago I was having a look at the NA Bear Center website to see if the bears were waking up from their winter slumber yet, I noticed a small article on the site which was giving a once in a lifetime opportunity for a handful of people to spend some time at the centre and get to know and study the bears. Knowing how much Carol has enjoyed the bears on our visits to Canada I told her to apply just for a laugh, well tonight she's opened up an email and she's got in.
BBC cameraman Gordon Buchanan filmed some stuff there a few years ago called The Bear Family and Me and we've just about worn out the sky+ watching it back so many times.

She's so hyped it's untrue, we've not looked at flights for her yet but we've got some cash saved up for a special occasion and I think this warrants the spend.

Expect a load of piccies when she gets back

It'll be a good chance for me to get a good trip in over here at the same time, win win
