It looks like it's going to be a bumper autumn!

Went out for some blackberries this morning... got plenty but during the forage on the hill above the village found: Scarletina Bolete, red cracking bolete, larch bolete, Chicken of the Wood!!, fairy ring champs, shaggy parasols and one I am yet to accurately identify. Also some deadly nightshade which is so pretty but not at all nice. I have uploaded pics to the picasa album linked. They are the last 20-odd from yesterday.

I've never eaten scarletina bolete so if anyone here has can you recommend it? It has to be cooked so which have you found best?

Tomorrow will see a full basket of goodies as well.......
I love this time of year (and all the others too.. ;o)
Happy hunting
