The second part of the walk was the Great Glen Way which starts at Fort William and goes on to Inverness

I met up with Colin (coln18) in Fort William for the next part of the walk

Great walk, great scenery, great pals and an episode of the antiques roadshow thrown in. Proud of you troops, so cultured and you were drinking scottish blend tea I believe, well done.

cheers

(Colin that australian chap fairly gets about)

Man tat was something else! Thanks for the virtual trip, though I'm guessing from the comfort of my desk chair it was a bit more grueling but fun too. Well jealous. I rode from Inverness to Glasgow on my motorbike on the way back from John O'Groats back in 1985 on my Scotland tour so I know what scenery you passed, beautiful countryside. Well done to all three of you! And lovely photos.

That’s two of the best walks in Scotland; I just love them I do the Great Glenn Way nearly every year just to look for new camp spots. This year was the first time I saw a slow worm. The Great Glenn must be one of Scotland’s best canoe trips also.
Did you find a green folding cup my pal lost it around about the Cave to the little Toy Grotto Wood Thing?
Cheers bro I’m looking forward to walking it next year now after looking @ your pictures.
Thats only 18 weeks to the end of April, ACE.

Great story and pictures! Hardcore to walk with so little equipment. :)
I take it you are an expert packer.

Some day I will also walk some in Scotland... (I hope.)

Could you please include a map showing your path and where you slept?

There are many foreign readers here who might now know all the places
in Scotland...
