brian, yup first "bushcraft course"

i did very basic survival camping as a scout but it was more about building dens and working out how to skin a rabbit!

i have heard of other courses but could never afford it, getting a "qualification" was the clinching descision as i am trying to get into the bushcraft industry.

it's a good place to start! :D

this was the course i did:

June 6-10 Woodland Survival Skills (Bushcraft) OCN Level 2 £345.00

Just out of curiosity, was it a recognised GCSE course, or an OCN level II course which is equivalent to a formal GCSE?

P.S. Glad to see I'm not the ony one who resurrects old threads. :D

Just clicked on the link provided by Rappleby2000 and answered my own question. :o It's an OCN qualification, not a GCSE. :)
