I actually never shot any albino birds, purely just lack of opertunity, slow reaction times and seeing the birds in between drives when no shooting was allowed for safety purposes.
Red's right though pheasants are intoruduced by the shooting community, we put down 400 this year, we expected a 46% return i.e. shot birds, however this foul weather has seen us shoot very few and spend most of the time feading the birds. I recon we have put about 3 tons of wheat down on our shoot during this foul weather, they birds are looking very health for it, as well as all the hegde row birds, local pigeons and roe deer in our vacinity. Its likley we will shoot 25% before the end of the season.
