I seen this chap whilst out in the woods today. Apologies for not getting a close up of the underside of it. I didn't want to disturb if possible. The underside looked very much like the stalk...

Slightly larger than an average sized fist, No odour that i could pick up on.

Any ideas?

Yep, young Dryads saddle. Quite a few of these about at the mo. By the way, they are lovely fried in a bit of oil.
