Fruit Cobbler

My adapted Cobbler, tried and tested at Rough Close this weekend:

This was in an 8 Litre Dutch Oven.

Line DO with Parchment/baking paper:

Drain Fruit (peaches, pears, pineapple and rhubarb and add:

Add 2 packets of Sponge Mix:

Add cinnamon and brown sugar:

Pour 1/2 can Strongbow down side:

After 35/40 mins check:

Serve with Custard:

No mess left in DO as you just lift out and throw the paper at the end.

Proper Job Martin, looks like a nice easy way, to make a lovely bit of Pud :)

It smelled and looked lush Martin, shame I missed out on that. Wax paper looks to be the way forward for this, I liked the idea of some wrongbow splashed in there too!
