Or US English?Does it recommend learning Russian or Mandarin?
Agreed but since the booklet mentions conflict it is reasonable to consider with whom that conflict might take place.(Lets keep the individual politics out of it please )

While I doubt that Europe could ultimately withstand any of the supercontinents, the reaction measures might be different.
This booklet reminds me of 1940’s Iron railings also the notices that were put up in my primary school in the 50’s and the film “The War Game” from the 60’s.
I totally agree that a normal household should be able to withstand a seven day cut in supply lines and utilities. That makes sense. (60l of water per person will take some managing in most domestic situations.)
After that it will be down to some form of organisation and sharing of resources. Survival, even resilience isn’t an individual thing.
There is nothing wrong with a short reference document as long as it is genuinely helpful. I expect to see one here before long.
We can perhaps take some encouragement from the fact that during the 1930s period of appeasement of an expansionist dictator, a great many members of the public guessed correctly what the future held and made preparations long before the government offered any advice or guidance to the public.
