i see https://backpackplanner.io/ seems a good place to start for lists of other folks kits and for their trip

you could make your own lists as well

it lists product category, price, brand, weight, discount, vendors

while this is [US] based it is a starting point and can converted from [US]to [UK] by many currency converters online

there is also a register alternative at https://lighterpack.com/welcome

registration can be skipped and the list you create will only be stored on your local computer

Welcome to LighterPack!

Here's what you need to get started:

  1. Click on things to edit them. Give your list and category a name.
  2. Add new categories and give items weights to start the visualization.
Note: Your data is being saved to your local computer. In order to share your lists please register an account.

may be handy for some folk...??

Just about all of my outdoor expeditions have had some sort of agenda. Most required a vehicle at least to base camp but the back packing was never the same. Where are we going? What are we doing? What's the expected weather and so on. Every list that I ever wrote and post-trip edits got tossed into the bottom of my big pack. Over the years, it got to be a whole lot easier to look specifically at trip lists. Might still be there.
