Hello,
Im a little worried that Im developing an unhealthy fetish, but I feel the need for a quality (by my standards anyway) locking folder.
Ive got SAKs and Opinels, but when I want something to rely on I go for my Radio Spares knife, and it just doesnt have the bush cred!
Ive had a good look through Heinnie Haynes Online and there is a baffling array from £10 to £200, and to be honest I dont know enough about the subject to make an informed choice.
If you were going to spend £40 on a locking folder what would you go for (and please could you tell me why)
I dont know enough about the choice of metals and Im not brilliant at sharpening so edge retention is important. I do like the look of the naked knives but I dont know if there are significant draw backs to their design. But fundamentally (and this is ridiculous but true) it must be an attractive piece of engineering but thats in the eye of the beholder!
Thanks for reading
Andy
