Flint and steel

Please can some one suggest a good place to by a traditional Flint and steel? Or does any one on here sell them privately?
I have looked and all I can kind are kits with extra char cloth tinder etc etc, or just the steel on it's own.

Guys, don't be promoting your stuff in general threads, makers can post up stuff in the makers section, not advertise generally.

merman, have a look in the makers area for people that can help you out, obviously the two above can

Buy an old file. Stick it in a vice. Whack it with a lump hammer.
.... High carbon sparking piece of steel. It may need smoothing a bit with a dremel or summut on the edges.

I bought it from that seller a couple of years ago. He shipped really quickly and the striker works a treat. Look through his other items too whilst you're there.
