Alright all,
I've a nice bronze axe head for sale, got it from a demo a few years back but I've never got round to do doing anything with it. Needs a little work as it still has casting marks etc.
Great project for you axe enthusiasts out there!

me neither if i'm honest, but one of the things that i think i know is that the hammering process is quite important, i believe that it's the hammering process that creates the hardened edge on the axe. i'm still tempted TBH..........i shall sleep on it and get back to you (unless it's already gone)

Looking at the picture Stu the edge doesn't appear to have been hammered

i couldn't agree more steve, i was just hoping that my eyes were deceiving me really :rolleyes:. with a bit of luck monarch's having this now anyway, so i can stop fretting about it :)
