I committed the cardinal sin earlier today by responding to a thread without introducing myself. Opps!
Robur here. I have been greatly enjoying the forum for a few years now and only posted earlier as I felt I had something worthwhile to say.
I spend most of my time in the Middle East (Oman) which is great for wilderness and sea adventure though lacking in any form of valid woodland! The rest of the time I spend in rural Worcestershire making up for lost time.
I love all aspects of "the outdoors" (as the yanks call it), I get great satisfaction from finding food in the wild whether fish,
fowl, fur or vegetation and love reading posts from others who are likeminded.
Making a fire to cook it on adds to the pleasure.
