I am primarily a tool user rather than maker but have been making sharp bits of metal with rough handles for years when I could not buy what I wanted off the shelf. Recently though I have been lurking on the British Blades and been inspired by Nicola's work recording traditional Sheffield knifemakers.
So this is my first attempt at a knife and sheath, I use a knife every day for carving wood but do not get on with wearing a sheath on a belt or round my neck so I wanted a good knife that fitted in a pocket. Anyway here it is.
Blade is by Bo Helgesson who I get my hook knives from and the handle is yew with a carved finish rather than sanded for good grip.
