Well here goes!!!!!!!!!
First time I've ever had a go at anything like this, the mora was re handled with a piece of wood given to me ,haven't a clue what it is.
The bolster is a piece of bone from a cows shoulder blade which my friend supplied (he's a butcher). The entire Handel was hand carved including the detailing and the swage line,a bit tricky to do but I got there in the end.
The mora has been finished with walnut oil the sheath is also a first attempt too as previous thread.I think the knife and sheath now match each other and am pleased with my efforts .
Let me know what you all think ,,,,
Regards Trev

Very cool. Great bolster fit too, for a first time. I'm always struggling with that. The carving in the handle looks top notch too. :)

If I may give some constructive advice for next time, it's nicer (IMHO) to have the handle be just as high as the top of the blade. So that that line meets, if you know what I mean. Also the guard is a tad big.

Don't want to be criticizing, just thinking along:)

You should be well pleased with those for a first go, they look fine things! I know I didn't get anywhere near that when I first did one.......atb mac

What wood did you use, and how did you do the swage lines. Too gobsmacked to ask before mate.
He he ,the wood was given to me by an elderly gentleman ,and I have no clue what it is.Its as hard as hell though ,and the swage line was cut with a razor sharp scalpel took a while but the artist in me took charge.I wanted to get away from original bushy lines and do something new

The shame of it all is I will never use this set up I've made as I have my BG survival knife .so I will probably get rid at some stage for somebody else to enjoy.
I only made this to see if I could do it

Very impressive! I'd be justly proud of making that. You should enter this into Mesquite's knife making comp, there's a category for a bought blade section I believe.

Is that the sheath you made out of lino or is that a new one? It looks like it's made from leather. Sorry for the confusion I've been to sleep since seeing the first sheath you made and can't rightly remember what it looked like.
