Firesteels: more fun with homemade handles

Hunky.... the scraper is important too. I've used a bit flint, glass apparently works and the hacksaw blade needs a grind off the back to remove paint. I think it puts a burr on it as well making it left or right handed!!

I used the scraper that came with it, but it was originally painted red all over. once i scraped through that i thought it would work better but it didn't. i have plenty of old hacksaw blades laying around, so i might try making my own scraper. thanks for that
