Fire-ware? (czech m92 field shirt)

Soooo, I've been looking for a very lightweight cotton smock i can pullover the synthetics before going near the camp fire.

Sadly the ideal item I found seems to be sold out (http://www.militarymart.co.uk/index.php?_a=product&product_id=2231). I wondered if anyone know of another source, or something similar?

(criteria is lightweight, small pack size, tough and fireproof)

have a look at the smock shop, they are about £25 all in, they come up big, the xl is approx. 27 pit to pit, & big enough for me to get it over a 46" buffalo shirt.

I've not been able to find out how much they weigh though, or how small you can pack them down to.

Have a search for British army cook's shirt/smock - nearly the same thing as the Czech one you linked to.

Just buy a German Army shirt a few sizes bigger than your normal. They come in Flecktarn camo( or Desert/tropical) or you can still find the old green moleskin shirts if you dig around a bit.

I have 2 of the v neck ones. I got the first one for round the camp fire, but now use both for my gardening business, they are very tough, & wash up well, & roll up to a good size.
