Primitive archer or paleoplanet is a good place to start. I have tried a few archery forums but find these the best.

If I am looking for reviews/opinions on specific equipment I usually check out Archery Talk. I'm a member
on it but I don't really hang out there much, I just use it as a resource. It's a US forum but does have Brit
archers and a specific field archery section. Can't really comment on friendliness as I just dip in and out.

Archery Talk although it tends to sometimes end up a gong show with a few regular bickerers on the "traditional" forum......

I always preferred the US forums for what I wanted, seems some of their (traditional) archery techniques are more progressive and often more simplified.......sometimes, not always!
