toddy i forgot about adventure one, might pop in at weekend.


i already have a good sleeping bag so ill stick with that at the moment, spoke to the guys im going with, one of them got a vango tent off there uncle so we are going to use that this time, and maybe try the hammock idea next time once we have had more camping experiance.

Oh do give hammocks a go! I have had some simply cracking nights sleep in mine!

I have a hammock, but I don't seem to be as evangelical as some others here. I was out last month and I slept far better in my tent than I would have in my hammock. Hammock for summer, tent for winter, make it up in the middle for Spring and Autumn. That's my 2p anyway.
