Hi all, I've done a search and poked around the site for well over an hour now. The wife is giving me stern looks for being an habitual cyber geek, so I'm wondering if anyone can help.

I'm after a ferro rod that I saw in a thread somewhere, it was mega cheap. It is the style with no handle on it and a bit of plug chain through a hole in the end.

Can anyone find the thread, or even better point me in the direction of a supplier? I'm thinking of getting a few and making handles of my own out of deer antler or wood. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think they were from either Stuart at The Trading Post, or Gary at Bearclaw Bushcraft.

Links in the links post.

Ah yes, Bearclaw. £4.99, much cheaper than the plastic toggle version and looks the same diameter. Also, when one end is worn, take it out of the handle you've made and it will last a bit longer!

Cheers MD, I didn't think of looking there!
