End of a horn wanted.

Does any one have (or can they direct me to a source for) a spare horn tip suitable for turning into a salt horn?

I'd be grateful to see how others have made theirs as well.

3 ot 4 inches tops, big eniough to hold a couple if ounces of salt anyway.

Finally picked up a piece of horn on Burnley flea that should be suitable. It put me back a whopping £1.25 but I think I will be able to get three items from it.

A small powder horn like salthorn, a small drumm shaped salt horn with wood at both ends and something from the middle bit if I can flatten it. Shame it had been turned into a dried flower holder thing but I'm just happy to have found it at all!

Tips;
It stinks and is very bad for you to breath in!

So work in well ventilated areas.

Taken on board!

Some X-acto carving router blades are proving to be invaluble for scraping the insides out. Tomorrow i need to find a scrap of wood to make the end cap and after thats carved to fit my first go at using pine resin and charcoal to glue it on...
