Hi All,
Last nights dinner was cooked in the dutch oven. so though i would put the recipe up for others to enjoy as it was fantasic.
Ingredients
Chicken (4 breasts)
Bacon (6 rashers)
2 x Onions
4 x Potatoes
Mushrooms
Peas
Sweetcorn
4 x Carrots
500ml White Wine (dry)
500ml chicken stock & a mixture of spices/herbs (i will get back to you on what mixture we used
Cream
How To
Firstly put a glug of oil in the pan and throw in the onions and soften
Next add the chicken and bacon and cook until the meat starts to colour
From now on do no stir.
Add the potatoes
add the carrots and peas
add the sweetcorn and mushroom
add stock and herbs/spices and white wine
add water to cover the veg
Put the lid on and sit back and have a beer
after a while it will look like this
Keep cooking until the veg is soft and the liquid has reduced
Add cream (i added 1/2 pot)
Stir
And enjoy
