hi all does anyone have any experience of the vango viper 1000 down sleeping bags how wide are they regards dave

If it were me Vango wouldn't be my first choice. Their quality isn't great, although they do often repair / replace it's still a hassle.
If looking at the budget end look at AlpKit or Robens, the higher end Rab or Mountain Equipment.

That's a good price for a down bag, but I have not had good luck with other eurohike gear before
