I spend a hell of a lot of my time around primary school age children, and their various adults, I have never seen anyone put sanitiser on a "kid's scrape".

This whole thread is really quite "daily mail" in tone. "do we coddle kids too much", not the ones in Palestine/Ukraine/Iran/Lebanon/Syria/Yemen etc. no, we don't coddle them.

Hmmm. Maybe we have a high incidence of germophobes here in Canada.
