@Tony
We need a tongue out [rasp] response emoji! :)
Oh don't worry my dear, some people can't help themselves and enjoy putting others down.

That's OK. I kind of agree with him, it was on the cards.
BUT .....no way was I claiming to be the ONLY one with insight on that.

So let's drop it now and just enjoy the moment and this glorious sunshine.

Beer time guys. After all we have a thing called the world Cup which is on atm I'm told, so double celebrations.
Have we won a game yet BTW?

Yeah - but I was asking for a response emoticon - like etc

…… so I can put my tongue out at people. I tend to lack couth.

Edited to add:
I forget that BcUK is an international forum!

Uncouth = Bad mannered.
As far as I know, no one ever uses the word couth. I was just being silly.

Yesterday I told the landowner that I had demolished my tent and was heading home.
When I go back in a few weeks shall I molish it again :).
English is a strange group of languages.

No point in debating as there is nowt we could do about it, and as someone said, stirring it up now might make things worse.
Threads like this never go well, knife law ones especially. There’s always, always someone who brings up stabbing with a biro or how a rolled up newspaper can be used as a weapon. In this case it seems to have taken an unpredictable turn to yet another non-ban, this time it’s towel rails. Which is preferable to brown eggs.

This is a good example of how things like catapults come to be banned. A search for ‘catapult ban’ immediately throws up this thread. Most people won’t read that there is no proposed or forthcoming ban, they will assume there is, the subject becomes more visible and sensationalist stories spread.

I've just seen a news story about banning air conditioning in people homes because of net zero 'reasons'.

I cannot believe the amount of responses to a "what if" thread. 74 as I write this. I also noticed a couple of members new introductions. the number of repliies were 3 and 4 mmm!I have started to withdraw a bit from this forum. What I feel was once a wealth of knowledge and sharing now seems to be turning into opposite of what I once loved. DD xxx
just my thoughts. Please don't be rude xxx
